Stop wasting money on overdraft fees!


The key point is to make sure your checking account is with a bank that also provides you with a credit card, or at least a savings account – then make sure your checking account is set up for “overdraft transfer” – so that if you overdraw your available checking account balance the bank can simply draw the necessary funds from your credit card or savings account. The fees for doing so is usually $5 at most banks, versus the $35+ fee banks charge for an NSF.
